Inspired by a number of my favorite artists’ sketch blogs, I’ve decided to start my own sketch blog of sorts, but for writing, since I don’t draw. This is primarily an effort to force myself to write on a regular basis and keep in the habit. Most of what’s on here will be quick writing exercises or the openings of stories or just thoughts and ideas about that kind of thing. Much of it will be unpolished. I’ll also post here whenever I get something published.

Alexander Burns lives and writes in the vicinity of Fort Worth, TX. He graduated from the University of North Texas with a BA in English Composition and works in publishing. He’s hard pressed to define exactly what he writes, but most of it will have science fiction/fantasy/supernatural themes.
